One of my greatest joys in life is officiating weddings. It’s an honor unlike any other—there’s something truly magical about bringing two souls together in a union of love and commitment.

Recently, I had the profound privilege of officiating my dear friend’s wedding. Their story resonates deeply with me because, like my husband and I, they represent the beautiful blending of cultures—Diego is Colombian, and Leslie is Jewish. Their journey together has been nothing short of extraordinary, and being part of their special day was an experience I’ll cherish forever.

The ceremony was filled with love, laughter, and, yes, a few tears. There was an undeniable magic in the air, a feeling that’s hard to put into words but was felt by everyone present. The blending of their traditions, from the vibrant Colombian culture to the rich Jewish heritage, created a celebration that was as unique as their love story.

Ending the ceremony with a heartfelt ‘Mazal Tov!’ in the heart of Colombia was a moment that beautifully encapsulated the essence of their union. It also reminded me of my own multicultural wedding, where different worlds came together to form something beautiful and new.

And while I might have stumbled over my Spanish a bit (hey, it happens!), the love and joy in the room were undeniable. Here’s to new beginnings, the power of love, and the beauty of coming together across cultures. Cheers to their love, and to all the couples who continue to inspire with their love stories!

P.S. If you need someone to officiate your special day, please reach out! It’s an incredible honor to be part of such a meaningful moment, and I’d be thrilled to help bring your unique love story to life.
